Here are some more photo's taken of Perell looking towards the "Big Peak". This is an awesome wave which we have sailed on a couple of occasions in a Northerly wind. This place picks up the most swell on Guernsey and could be a good spot for tow-in if only we had the jet ski and the minerals to take it on! This is only a medium sized set, when it's pumping it doubles in size. I'll post some photo's when we get the next big swell.
The Northerly winds have finally broken and the Atlantic weather sytems have started to push through again and the thought of warmer weather and some port tack action have been getting the boys frothing at the mouth again! The forecast was for good swell and a strong southerly wind. These are the days that we dream of, but as usual the wind didn't quite get strong enough and we spent more time watching than doing. Here are some shots of Perell reef doing it's thing whilst the boys can only look on and dream of what it could have been like.....
